About
The Darite Beer Festival, 'Winterfest', will take place on the 29th and 30th November this year.  In the past it has been known as 'Oktoberfest' when it took place in October, funnily enough, in 2019.  Following the COVID years we managed to hold Winterfest in 2023, and based on the success we have TWO Darite Beer Festivals in 2024.  Springfest was held in May and went down like a storm.

The Darite Beer Festival Committee have been working hard behind the scenes to bring you 'Winterfest' this year.  There will be a good selection of Ales & Ciders as well as various other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on offer.

This year the event will span 2 days, Friday 6pm until 11pm and Saturday 2pm until 11pm.  So why not come along to this pre-Christmas festival event, have a great time and support a good cause in return.

We also have a Raffle with some top prizes to win.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Little Waves
LITTLE WAVES
5pm - 7pm
Little Waves are an exciting acoustic duo with a collated set of songs from the decades. Ben and Mark have both been in international touring bands and have had the pleasure of sharing some of the worlds most prestigious stages with Artists such as Alice Cooper, Motley Crüe, Kiss, Protest the Hero, Don Broco and Lower than Atlantis to name but a few.

Now in this more laid back format, they bring a rootsy vibe to an eclectic collection of songs from the 50’s right up until 2019. Available for Weddings, Corporate events and private hire, they are happy to travel anywhere and hope to send little waves through the country and beyond...
Dark Station
DARK STATION
7pm - 9pm
Dark Station is a 3 (or sometimes 2) piece band made up of old school chums Graham and Tamsyn, and ex-Londer Kevin.

Following a chance meeting after not seeing each for 30 years, Graham and Tamsyn discovered a mutual love of cider, swearing and acoustic quirky jazz/punk. Forming a band seemed like a good idea at the time.

Kev saw them performing as a duo and decided it was a party he wanted to crash. From that moment on it’s been a series of congas, sandals, checked shirts, cow bell solos and general good times all the way.

She has supported the likes of Wildwood Kin and Haunt The Woods at Plymouth Pavilions, and also recorded her debut demo EP “I’m Not like You” at Abbey Road Studios last November, donating some of the CD proceeds to Livewire Youth Music Project. Having only been performing for the past couple of years, Charlie has quickly become an established solo artist on the Southwest Circuit. Charlie played over 50 gigs over the course of last year including multiple festivals, such as Boardmasters, Looe Saves The Day and BBC Introducing stages at the Biggest Weekend Fringe event at Exeter Phoenix. Charlie absolutely loves the playing and supporting the local beer festivals, for charity and we are proud to have her back at Dobwalls Beer Festival again this year, having played here last year as well as the Darite Beer Festival and Sterts Beer Festival too!
